IND vs Aus: After one and a half hour of the innings, Virat Kohli turned to touch the shot thrown towards him, the ball flew away from the mid-wicket. Kohli tried to go fast with the next man but almost the batsman took a straight shot like an arrow and ran away fast. Before calling it a day, the former Indian skipper hit a cover one.

Earlier in his Test century, Kohli made appearances in the nets of the series, spending nearly two hours in between, with a short break in the evening, which was warm in Mumbai. ,  It was a nice and beautiful start to the White Football season which ended with the World Cup in October-November.

With Shubman Gill in the middle, Kohli wondered how he would face the new ball when he opened the batting against Ishan Kishan in the first ODI against Australia on Friday. Rahul Dravid was also busy and did his best that day. Top specialists Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell hit the ground running and there were many scores in the opposition camp. He was one of the few Australian players to train before the Games. Stoinis was strong during his hour-long stay and like Kohli hit the ball straight to the edge of mid-wicket several times. Maxwell tried to swing and spin his short delivery and stayed on the length to collect the ball sent by Stoinis. In the fast-paced race of cricket, the Test format seems very old fashioned. The focus is on the 50-over system; The coordination between the two countries is all the more important as the focus of both the teams is on the World Cup.

Seven months after the show, neither India nor Australia can claim to be a stable and organized team.

Skipper Hardik Pandya, who did not play in the first ODI due to personal commitments and stood in for Rohit Sharma, was jubilant on Thursday, distracted by the various problems facing both sides including his inability to bat. The attack has failed without Jasprit Bumrah getting hurt.

After undergoing back surgery last September, the talented player is looking to complete the World Cup. Pandya admitted, “Jassi (Bumrah) has done a very good job.”

The only problem is Bumrah’s low ball attack. Shreyas Iyer’s injury, player load management and India’s lack of success in the knockout stages of ICC competitions are some of the other issues that worry India. Pandya also said that he will try to show more courage. “Both teams are strong and stay as close to the wire as possible. That’s how we learn and play under pressure.”

Australia lost their last two ODI series in the continent against Sri Lanka and Pakistan and will start the three-match campaign.

David Warner is waiting for medical clearance to play his first ODI. Although Warner will be one of the first names in the playing XI due to his ODI form, Australia might have a better ground for the series. Cameron Green with Stoinis, Maxwell, Mitchell Marsh and Ashton.

Marsh, who is returning to the Australian team after a foot operation, cited England as an example and said, “They have a good batsman at No.8 – the balance of all colors in the team is important.

About the bat, he said, “It allows you to score big runs or chase down big runs.” “Expect a lot of competition as we watch this series
